About Us
The Fair Havens Fellowship began September 28, 1981 with twelve people who met in the home of the founders, Patricia MacKinnon and her late husband, David MacKinnon. By November of 1981, we had grown and moved into three storefronts on Oliver Street in North Tonawanda. In June of 1984, we relocated to a church building on Schenck Street. As a result of our continued growth, in 1994 we purchased 17 acres in the Town of Wheatfield on Ward Road.
Our name was officially changed to The Fair Havens Church in May of 1996. By God’s grace, we built a new facility and held our first service on October 19, 1997. In 2008, we were able to purchase an additional eight acres of land bringing our total to twenty-five acres.
On October 9, 2011 God blessed us with a community center in North Tonawanda, and later led us to sell the property in 2017 to a local growing church. We are currently working on plans to expand our campus!
On April 28th, 2024 our Senior Pastor Patricia MacKinnon took on a new role as Founding Pastor Emerita. After serving as Associate Pastor for 22 years, Pastor Robert Bonvissuto transitioned into the role of Senior Pastor for our church.
